Meal Prepping – The 5 Dinners in 1 hour Meal Prep System

Sharing is caring!

Like many people, Meal Planning is easy, Meal Prepping however can be a struggle for me.  I’m never feeding less than 6, and often up to 10 on the weekends.  While I LOVE to cook, and I’m always wanting to experiment with new recipes to find those that my family will enjoy.

On weeknights I need them to be easy to prepare, good as leftovers for lunches, and economical.   Sounds easy, right?  Not so much!    Over the years, I’ve been on recipe email lists (ran one myself called Cooking with RecipeLu for many years back in the ’90’s), used recipe software, surfed the web, spent hours looking at Foodyub,  had binders, notebooks, printed month or weekly menu’s… you get the picture.

Now,  we have so many more distractions, Facebook, and YouTube and let’s not forget about Pinterest!   It should be easy, it really should be, but it’s just NOT.

About 9 months ago, I came across the 5 Dinners in 1 Hour Meal Prep System, yes it’s a subscription, and yes it costs me money every 3 months….. but it works, it really really works.   Our Grocery bill has gone down, we waste almost nothing anymore,  our eating out costs have gone down, and dinner is on the table in no time, often cooked and ready to go by the time I get home.  I LOVE it!

This one is different from other plans I’ve seen.  There are different Meal Plans you can choose from – Classic or Clean Eating, it creates a shopping list for you including all the recommended side dishes,  you can customize the serving size you want to prep for, and you can save your favourites for use later.   There are 60 recipes to choose from each and every month, and 20 rotate in, and 20 of the oldest ones rotate out.  If you buy the Family Combo, you have 120 to choose from….  so not likely you can’t find something even the pickiest of eaters will like.  And for those who want to try before you buy… they offer a sample menu, for just $2 USD that lets you take the system for a spin.

Yes, these are affiliate links, Yes, I became a LIVE PREPPER for them, but I don’t endorse just anything….. just for an affiliate link, trust me…..  I have used this program almost every week for the last 9 months and the 2 weeks I missed were NOT good, let me tell you.  Below are just a few of my personal photo’s that I’ve taken and shared.  All of them were excellent.  Of all the recipes we’ve tried, only 1 didn’t work out, and a few I tweak to our taste.

Want to learn more about the system?  This is one of my LIVE steams that I do for them on Facebook.

If you’re wondering about those little green baggie holders, I get mine from Amazon.  They are a big help, especially when you are prepping a large bunch of meals at a time, or things that have a lot of liquid. This is an affiliate link, I may make a small commission if you purchase through my site, but you don’t pay anything extra.
