My mother tells stories of her family dinners where they ate the same things, on the same nights every week. If she forgot what day it was, she could tell by what was being served, it was that routine. While that works for some, I get bored. I need variety, and I like to use different cuts of meat for different seasons, and occasions.
The benefit of having an amazing collection of Meal Planning Meat & Potatoes recipes is you’ll never get bored. It also keeps you on budget as you can use such a wide variety of Beef cuts, and you’re sure to find something that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy.
I also find that Beef Recipes reheat well, in some cases, even better on the second day.

Grilled steak is delicious, grilled steak with Blue Cheese Butter is FABULOUS! Grilling is a quick and easy weeknight meal that's low on prep, high on flavour. The Blue Cheese Butter can be made ahead and stored in the refridgerator indefinitely. Try it on a warm roll when making leftover Grilled Steak Sandwiches.. OH YES!
This Asian inspired marinade infuses the Flank Steak which is then quickly grilled or broiled. We like to eat this thinly sliced on top of salad in the summer but as we head into fall, I like to serve it with mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetable.
Beef, Vegetables, Gravy, Flaky Crust, all in a personal size Pot Pie. What could be better?? Prepping the filling ahead of time, using store bought crust, and just assembling on cooking day! These reheat really nicely in an air fryer or toaster oven.
Pam from the Sidewalk Shoes shares one of her favorite meals with this Grilled Steak and Potatoes drizzled with a homemade Chimichurri Sauce. Fresh parsley, garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes and olive oil. Good for marinating or drizzling, you're going to love it!
There’s nothing quite like a Rib Eye steak, seared and smothered in butter and sauteed mushrooms. Erica from the Crumby Kitchen shares one of her favorite recipes for Steak, and some really helpful tips on how to get the best results using your Cast Iron Pan. Add this one to your list to try!
Another winning Steak dish from Erica at the Crumby Kitchen, the Mojo Mustard Butter is a game changer! This restaurant quality; easily made at home with just a little Meal Prep!
These are my go to Mashed Potatoes. Making them in the Instant Pot cuts the cooking time in half. Adding cream cheese and garlic, takes them to another level. Everyone always wants the recipe for these!
While this is NOT a potato recipe, it is a great substitute for those looking for a great side dish to serve with steak, that isn't a starch! For those doing low carb or Keto, this recipe in one you will make again and again.
