Not just for Taco Tuesday, and more than just ground beef and toppings (though we love those). This perennial family favourite food profile is one that has just so many options! At our house we love everything Taco flavored. From traditional tacos, to casseroles, to soups… I’m sharing some of my most often cooked Meal Planning; Taco Recipes including my Mexican Shredded Chicken and Homemade Taco seasoning. For the last few years, I’ve been making my own Taco seasoning from scratch instead of using the packets from the stores, and I’ll never go back

How do you make Taco Seasoning?
It’s so simple! I use a 1 pint mason jar with a lid, combine all my spices, shake and store. The recipe below is the combination of spices we enjoy. It’s very mild, so feel free to increase the amount of chili powder, or add some additional heat with Cayenne pepper if you want to kick it up a bit on the Scoville scale.
